	Pastoral
	Rev. Dr. Edward Thompson, Sr. Pastor Edward is a graduate of Durham University England, and Edinburgh University Scotland, and McCormick Seminary, Chicago. Ordained by the Presbytery of Edinburgh in 1982 he served in the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh, Golspie, and Troon. He moved to the USA in 1995 when he became Senior Pastor of Second Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, Missouri. In September 2008 he joined us as Senior Pastor and Head of Staff. Edward and his wife Elizabeth celebrated 30 years of marriage in 2008 and they have three sons and one daughter-in law.
	Rev. Dr. Kathleen Weller, Temporary Supply Pastor Kathleen is a BA graduate of Trinity College, Illinois; she earned her M. Div. at McCormick Tehological Seminary, Illinois and her D. Min. at Colunbia Seminary, Georgia. Kathleen has served churches in Illinois, Indiana and Florida since her ordination in 1994. While serving First Presbyterian part-time, she remains a part-time chaplain at Moorings Park. While she has training and experience in conflict management in congregations, her first love in ministry is discipleship. Kathleen and her husband Sam (a pharmacist) live in Lehigh Acres. Her son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren also redise in Lehigh Acres.

	Dr. Brice Gerlach, Director of Music Ministries Brice received his bachelor's and master's degrees in organ performance from Eastman School of Music and Indiana University respectively. He received his doctorate in choral conducting from Indiana University. His organ teachers include L. Robert Slusser, Russell Saunders and Larry Smith. Brice's conducting teachers include Thomas Dunn, Jan Harrington and Robert Porco.

	Lee Walsh, Preschool Director Lee received her bachelors degree from The University of the South and attended graduate school at Loyola University where she also taught philospohy. She has brought many programs to our Preschool including Promoting Positive Behavior and Alleviating Childhood Fears and Anxieties.
